Winter in South Tyrol
For all mountain resorts winter remains the main season with a large choice of winter sports to practice.

Skiing areas, which are singular in the world, with an impressive network of modern lifts, well-groomed slopes and the certainty of snow, insure continuity for your passion during your winter holidays. For those of you who have never tried it, skiing under the lights is a delightful experience and these areas provide every year more and more night skiing opportunities. Great carousels - lift pass systems offer skiers the chance to ski in virtually all the ski resorts in the province. After skiing you can jump to your favourite Aprés-Ski for the aperitif.
Besides alpine skiing in South Tyrol can be practised cross-country, biathlon, curling, sledging and ice skating. And even less active people can enjoy winter landscapes hiking through deep and fresh snow. We reccomend you not to forget the traditional december Christmas Market in the most important localities of South Tyrol in December.
